Baby Dedications PDF Print E-mail

baby

          • A Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which Christian parents make a commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God's Word. The church also makes a commitment to teach the child the Word of God as they faithfully attend services.
          • A child can be dedicated at any age. Some prefer to bring their child to the Lord as infants. This is the normal pattern in most churches.

  • Policy Statement: Pastor will only dedicate the child of members or regular attendees since baby dedication requires a commitment from the parents and the church. In the case of single parents, only one parent may stand in front of the church. If both single parents wish to dedicate their child, they may do so after service in the chapel.
  • Baby Dedications are scheduled the last Sunday or every other month. A schedule for each year is posted on the Baby Dedication Applications located online and at the Welcome Center.
  • We ask that only the child's parents come forward on the stage due to the amount of baby dedications every other month. However, we do welcome family and friends to attend the service. Reserved seating is available.

  • We do, however, provide spiritual advisement to those who need to talk to a Pastor and/or a trained staff member.

  • Pastor Joe will meet with active members of CFF. Contact Nancy Wagner at ext 304 to schedule an appointment with him.
  • Pastor Lynn (aka Miss Lynn) will meet with children, their parents and/or regular attendees of CFF. Contact Nancy Wagner at ext 304 to schedule an appointment with her.

  • When funds are available, financial assistance will be provided to those in need.
  • Financial request forms are available at the church reception window. They can be returned there or given directly to Pastor Bryant.
